Found another great BB Cream - Vitamin Science

I have recently been introduced to this brand of skincare products from Korea - Vitamin Science. The products from Vitamin Science actually makes use of a range of  pure vitamins that helps bring about visible improvements to ones skin after a couple of weeks. What attracted me to their products was that it was developed with people who have sensitive skin in mind. Just the type of product I think would suit me well. I started with their Vita Advanced Whitening Multi BB Cream. Texture of the BB Cream was slightly thicker than those I have tried , however, it was still light to apply on. What's best is, the cream is very easily absorbed into the skin, leaving me with a very healthy glow. I have used this for a couple of weeks, and so far no signs of breakout! So.. here's yet another BB Cream that is suitable for peops like me with ultra dry, yet easy to break out skin. I am now trying Vita Advanced Whitening One Step Cleanser and their Vita Advances Whitening Multi Facial Gel

Goodbye Belly, Hello Baby - Part 2

Wanted to have "final" thoughts recorded before I disappear from this blog for some time.... yes i do foresee I may not have the time to blog when Beanie comes. 1) It was my last day @ work today. Quite a relieve actually. While I had initially wanted to work till the day Beanie arrives, the past few days was rather challenging.  The weight bearing down on my pelvis, the constant need to relieve myself, the daily bouts of diarrhea and the punishing weather makes me wanna just stay home and await the arrival of my precious little hwa. 2) I don't quite care that I am wasting at least a week of my maternity leave. I just need all the sleep and rest I deserve before I attempt to be a mother, a wife and a daugther. Let's talk about being a marketer in August. 3) To everyone who thinks I am such a cool mum even before the baby is here... "Thanks!". I have absolutely no idea why I am not nervous. Yes, this is my first pregnancy... and maybe because it is, and I

Goodbye Belly, Hello Baby

No no no.... I have not popped. But being in my 39th week, i guess it will happen anytime now although Beanie does not seem to be in a hurry. Not sure if I should be proud of myself for creating such a cozy enviroment for him in my belly... or get worried that he will be late. Since I will soon say goodbye to my belly... i thought a last pic of my bump should enjoy a space here. The final countdown begins.....

Loving my Galaxy S2...lalalala

This post is actually overdue. Well... after my entry on which new phone I should get , Hwa went out to renew his already expired mobile contract and got me a white Samsung Galaxy SII, when he is still using his really old iPhone 3G.  How sweet is that?! Ok, as mentioned before, I am no professional tech person who can write a superb review on mobile phones... but here's what i like on the S2: I love the 4.3 inch display and super clear resolution. It made my BB torch pale in comparison. It's 8MP camera, and the various free photography apps makes photosharing so much easier now. Love how I can quickly prettify the piccies I take on the go. With this, I can't wait for birth of Beanie, where I can snap non-stop and share them instantly with all of you. While I thought Samsung and Andriod's interface was easy to navigate around, I had friends who begged to differ. They felt that Apple was more user friendly, and works well with non-techy people like them. Actually, I

Are we there yet?

Ok... I have to confess. I am getting impatient and is secretly wishing that beanie will arrive really really soon. Only a few days away from full term, yet i feel like time has kinda slowed down and it is sometimes hard to stay focused at work. I feel like i have been pregnant forever, and cannot wait to get rid of the heaviness. While some mummies to be are fearing the pending labour, here i am wishing i can just press the fast forward button and get on with it. Am i the only one feeling this way? Anyone care to share? Packing my hospital bag...

As i enter the 35th week of my pregnancy, people around me are getting increasingly excited. Even more excited than me... the mummy to be. They have been urging me to start packing my hospital bag. But the procrastinator in me just wouldn't barge thinking there is still time. Finally, i decided to take the first step towards packing by taking the bag out of the storeroom. I see packing my hospital bag akin to packing for a holiday. Careful planning required on what to wear, what to bring, things to sneak in so i can secretly shower and of course what beanie should wear home. ;-) Well, of course going into labour is far from having a pleasurable holiday. But it certainly is a journey that is worth preparing for... posted from Bloggeroid

My first visit to Stellar @ 1-Altitude

Today, I had the opportunity to dine at Stellar, 1-Altitude, at the kind invitation of the people from BT Invest. I have been wanting to  chill out at 1-Altitude, but somehow , plans to spend a friday evening with girlfriends there always seem to fall through.  While this work event is at Stellar and not the Gallery, it was my chance to take in the breathtaking view of the CBD while enjoying some happy food... and of course participating in the trade event. Food was good, and surprisingly, what I enjoyed most was their salad and soup. Salad was  a combination of tiger prawns , romaine lettuce, couscous, promegranate, almond bits (i think) and feta cheese. Crunchiness of the couscous & almond bits with the juciness of the promegranate gave a different taste and texture to what seemed like a normal salad. I don't think I can do the food justice with what I describe and i wished i remembered to take some piccies. Oh well! I would love to visit again , next time to have a prope
