This is not a sponsored post!  This Spurbox came in the mail!  At 3 years old, J's childcare teachers have been telling us that he seems more advanced than his peers. J often finds activities in school either boring or somewhat lacking challenge. 

Today, as I write this in the still of the night, my tears are flowing. I am a crybaby alright! I always see my tears as a weakness, so I always try to hide them behind a smile. However, like the clouds,there are days when the tears just cannot be held back any longer and they flow like the rain. Earlier this year, I was promoted. It was, to me, a recognition of the sacrifices I have made and the decision I took to continue working even with a child. More so for leaving a job I so loved, to an industry I had at that time, no idea of what it stands for.

Hands up anyone who's a fan of Looney Tunes! Well, I was! Tweety was my favorite and I recalled always mimicking her "I tot I saw a puddy tat!" Then in recent years, there was Baby Looney Tunes and they are all just too cute especially Baby Taz. Honestly, the Looney Tunes that our generation remembers can be deemed a little boring by our kids. We have tried to introduce Looney Tunes to J before, and he didn't want to even take a second look. The Baby series is more interesting to the kiddos I reckon, because they are way way cuter and modern, don't you agree?!

Continuing our travelogue of Taiwan, we take you to Hualien.  Our r ecent trip to Taiwan last May wasn't the first to Hualien for the man and me. We have done Taroko Gorge and Cixingtan before, and I was personally very taken by the view at the latter. That was why we decided to stay at Bayview B&B , which is apparently the accommodation closest to the coast, what more on my 35th birthday night. So romantic hor?! We actually did not have much time at Hualien this trip, and here's are some of our memories.  Qing Shui Tai (Qing Shui Cliff)

"It's All Animals - All The Time!" There are a few things on the kid's radar these days. They are anything related to police and firemen or the zoo. There's one thing on mummy's radar though. That is to start supplementing the kid with stuff learnt in school. I have always meant to look for some enrichment for him, but I cannot bear to burn our weekends, at the same time, I am always very tired from work.
