I'm a mom! - #01

The first very noticeable thing , that's a huge tell tale sign that I am now is MOM is that extra piece of meat around the abdomen that never seems to go away :(

While I made the resolution to exercise and eat less to lose that stubborn 7kg...nothing really changed. The 7kg is still here after 3 months.

I think that's here to stay for a long time... and until I can find the time and commit to lose the bulge....I will have to live with people (still) giving up their seats for me in the train.

One of the many gifts motherhood has presented to me. Welcome!

Here's some places you can check out if you are going down that way and I will let the pictures do the talking!

Fun for kids in the West of Singapore- Part 1

My family moved to the western part of Singapore when I was 3 years old. For as long as I can remember , I have lived here, and will likely continue to for an even longer time.

At different points, people have asked me what's there to do here in the west as it seems so far away. The common comments I hear from friends while in school were "you live in tuas ah....the industrial area? " Or... "which kampong is that?".

IVF Round 2: Done with Egg Retrieval.

IVF egg retrieval for round 2 was done 3 weeks ago. And now, we take a break.

Yup... we did not go for an embryo transfer. It was a collective decision that this would be the best for us right now.  A collective decision among hubs, me, our doctor and the embryologist.
