Photo shoot - 1 more month...

17 June 2006, exactly 1 more month to go before our wedding photo shoot. Oh man! That means I have 30 days to lose that X kg to be at my ideal weight. What more I have FAT limbs! So exasparating! I must... I MUST look good for the photo shoot. How?!! Good thing prince charming is not around for the next two weeks to tempt me! Actually come to think of it, he has to be partly responsible for me being so fat & flabby today!

Alright...weight loss SHALL be my resolution for this month (cross my fingers that I will stick to it!)

Anyway, it is just a photo shoot, but yet there is so many things to prepare. Got to:
  • Get shoes for me as well as for Hwa,
  • Get a set of matching outfit for one of the photoshoot sections. =Crack brains= What shall we wear? Kakis? jeans? Boring! Soccer Jerseys? Too cheesy! Urgh.... I know lah... how about our old StarHub CS uniform?!!!!?? Hiak Hiak! Perfect right? Since that was what we wore when we first met! But...... it is so unglam! I just got to think harder...
  • Facials... and more facials!
  • Pedi & Medi
  • Research a list of outdoor locations for the shoot....( at work got to research.... at home also got to research... BORINg!)

Hmmm.....and Hwa is not helping much. I sometimes wonder if the guys are really interested in the wedding... or are they just going along with it to please the women around them. I guess this needs no serious thinking as we all know the answer. They would go for the simplest way out, esp for "this" particular male species. Opps.... he better not see this now.... or my life will not be spared! Whahaha! = Evil Bride turning devilish= He will say that I am always complaining about his non-participation.... but it is true what! Sigh.... anyway, it is what we call "Happy Quarrel". Blame it on us ladies for being "hiao"lah!

Yilan for kids - Taiwan Travelogue

Our recent trip to Taiwan brought us to Yilan. Although we initially worried that it will be boring for the boy as it is more of a "back to nature" part of Taiwan, we enjoyed ourselves very much, and wished we spent more time there. Surprisingly, Yilan packs more fun for the kid than expected.

Here's some places you can check out if you are going down that way and I will let the pictures do the talking!

My thoughts on the Glenn Doman Learning Method

When I was invited to attend a baby learning seminar about the Glenn Doman Learning Method , I wasn't prepared to feel what I did after that.

There were fleeting thoughts in that 3 hours for me to leave my job to be at home with J.

I also had my heart swell with pride despite not having been the most conscientious mum in helping my son to learn. Yet the time he spent in school has helped him reach all his developmental and learning milestones.

Fun for kids in the West of Singapore- Part 1

My family moved to the western part of Singapore when I was 3 years old. For as long as I can remember , I have lived here, and will likely continue to for an even longer time.

At different points, people have asked me what's there to do here in the west as it seems so far away. The common comments I hear from friends while in school were "you live in tuas ah....the industrial area? " Or... "which kampong is that?".
